Mossmorran flaring – 27th October 2017

Images from around the communities in Central Fife captured by various residents across many Central Fife locations of the flaring at Mossmorran from an unexpected Gas Leak. Flaring is expected to continue for upto 72 hours.

  • Both my Wife and I have terminal Illnesses and since this Shut Down on the 27th October we have suffered breathing problems. Eventually having to keep our windows shut. I worked on the North Sea Production Platforms for 20 Years and know what happens when a. Gas Plant shuts down. The amount of Hydro Carbons emitted to atmosphere can cause a serious Health Problem for the nearby Population.
