The new manager at Fife NGL Plant at Mossmorran. Has pledged to be a good neighbour.
Craig Burnett takes over from Teresa Waddington at the helm of the Shell owned plant, replacing Teresa Waddington who is going to work for the company in Canada.
For the past two years, he has been production co-ordinator at the plant.
Mr Burnett said “Since first coming to work at Shell’s plant at Mossmorran two years ago, it’s been clear what a strong contribution it makes to the economies of the local area and Scotland more widely.
“But equally important is the need for it to be a good neighbour to people living nearby. That matters hugely to them – and to me.
“It will remain a priority as I take over the running of the plant.”
Mr Burnett joined Shell following a merger with BG Group in 2016.
