Support Motion 10
Media Coverage
Motion 10 – Council will press the Scottish Government to commission an independent expert study of the environmental, social and health impacts on the surrounding communities of the operations of Shell’s Fife NGL Plant and ExxonMobil’s Fife Ethylene Plant at Mossmorran
The motion is important because the environmental, health and social impacts have been ignored since 1985, and will continue to be dismissed until there is an independent study conducted. We need our councillors across Fife to stand up for our communities and send a strong clear message to the Scottish Government, SEPA, NHS, ExxonMobil and Shell that we want the negative impacts from the operations at Mossmorran addressed, NOW!
Please use the form on the right to contact all 75 councillors urging them to support Motion 10. By lobbying councillors across all parties, we can continue to build on the cross-party support that is slowly progressing our collective concerns.
Day of Protest: To make sure our voice is heard, we are holding a peaceful public protest at Fife House in Glenrothes on Thursday 2nd May 2019 between 10am – noon. Please come along and bring your dust masks!
